.. when classic metal/hard rock bands like Priest put out new releases in the modern age. Seriously I am so glad that something as great NOSTRADAMUS has come out after oh so many dissapointments and failures by other old school bands putting out crappy new CDs such as Rush, Iron Maiden and Megadeth. NOSTRADAMUS is one of Judas Priest's best albums, that is for sure. People who are complaining don't know what they are talking about, this is Priest going back to it's progressive 70s roots, turning away from the commerical hit machine it was in the 80s. I'm glad they didn't do another Angle of Retribution, which was just a retred of established ideas, NOSTRADAMUS actually progress the band forward in new territories. Think Sad Wings of Destiny, think Sin After Sin, think dynamics and gothic doom vs. melodic and almost symphonic moments of beauty. That is what NOSTRADAMUS is folks. If you have been longing for the sound they had in the 70s to come back, with its epic-ness and dynamics, well here it is.
